Meet the Host

Robert Moon hosts The Irish Are Coming, a cultural history podcast featuring the influence of Irish heritage in America. Of Irish descent, his family traces its roots to Carrickmore, County Tyrone.

The show grew from a personal journey. Robert was inspired by his parents, who spent part of their retirement traveling through Ireland’s towns, neighborhoods, and graveyards to trace their family ancestry.

Each episode features conversations with historical scholars, PhDs, authors, and experts on Irish heritage who root these stories in a broader American context.
